Reference values for structure emissions measured on site in new residential buildings in Finland

Seven newly constructed Finnish residential buildings were followed from construction through their first year, with VOC, formaldehyde and ammonia emissions measured directly from finished surfaces using FLEC. The study reports time-dependent reference values and shows that most surface emissions declined to Finnish M1 levels within six to twelve months, although some ceiling emissions remained elevated.
