Editorial summary

The authors evaluate a combined air-treatment system comprising oxygen production, ozone-based oxidation and air scrubbing for mechanically cooled buildings. Bench testing and energy analysis indicate that purification could permit lower outdoor-air intake and reduce cooling demand in a tropical climate. FLEC appears only through cited background on VOC emissions and mass transfer, not in the air-treatment experiments.

FLEC use

FLEC mention, comparison or reference

The study builds and tests components of an air-treatment system; no FLEC forms part of that setup. FLEC occurs through a cited mass-transfer/emission-cell publication in the references only.
