Time dependence of characteristic parameter for semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs) emitted from indoor materials

Editorial summary
The study tracks the equilibrium gas-phase source concentration of selected phthalates from PVC flooring and TCPP from polyurethane foam during outdoor exposure and controlled chamber storage. Higher-volatility compounds declined appreciably over 60 days, whereas DEHP changed little over that period but decreased over much longer aging. FLEC is invoked through an earlier cited FLEC study that motivated the time-dependence question, not as equipment in the reported experiments.

FLEC use
FLEC mention, comparison or reference
The reported experiments use natural exposure and a controlled ventilated chamber. The article refers to earlier values measured by Clausen and co-workers with FLEC; it does not report a new FLEC experiment.
